Privacy

Protecting your personal data is very important to us. Under no circumstances will collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. All employees who have access to such data are obliged to observe data protection regulations.

Technical Data

Technical data of users of our web site is only collected as far as necessary for statistical purposes and is anonymized before it is evaluated. Such data cannot be connected with individuals. This data will not be combined with other data sources.

Personal data

Personal data is only collected as far as absolutely necessary for the use of particular features. Whenever feasible, using our web site with anonymized data or a pseudonym is also permitted. When you contact us via email or one of our online forms, your data may be transmitted without encryption. In such cases, we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of your data during transmittal.

Provider

Our web site and our e-mailboxes have for years been managed by a German provider, who is subject to the strict German data protection regulations.

Disclaimer:

1. Content of our online presence

The operator does not in any way guarantee that the information provided is up-to-date, correct, complete, or of particular quality. Damage claims against the provider or individual authors based on material or non-material damage that was caused by the use or non-use of the presented information or the use of false and incomplete information, are principally ruled out provided they are not due to verifiably deliberate or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the operator. The services are subject to change and non-binding. The author explicitly reserves the right to change, supplement, or delete some or all of the content of the web site without prior notice, or to discontinue the publication temporarily or finally.

2. References and links

For direct or indirect references to third-party sites ("hyperlinks") outside of the operator’s sphere of responsibility, liability obligations would apply only in cases where the operator is aware of the content and it would be technically feasible and reasonable to prevent the use of unlawful content.

The operator hereby explicitly declares that at the time the links were placed, no illegal content was apparent on the linked pages. The operator has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, contents, or authorship of the linked/referenced pages. The operator therefore distances himself explicitly from all content of linked/referenced pages that were changed after the link was placed. This statement applied to all links and references within the operator’s own web site, and for third-party entries in blogs, guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists established by the operator. Illegal, false, or incomplete content and particularly any damage resulting from the use or non-use of such information is the sole responsibility of the operator of the referenced site, not the party who is merely referring to the respective publication via links.

3. Copyright and trademark

The operator strives to respect the copyright of any graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts published on the web site, to use his own graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts, or to use public domain graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts.

All brands and trademarks mentioned on the web site that may be protected by third-party rights are unrestrictedly subject to the regulations of the applicable trademark laws and property rights of the registered owner. Mere mention does not justify the conclusion that trademarks are not protected by third-party rights!

The copyright of the operator’s own published content remains solely with the operator of the pages. Reproduction or use of such graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the operator’s explicit consent.

4. Data protection

Third parties are not permitted to use contact data such as mailing addresses, telephone or fax numbers, and e-mail addresses published in the imprint or comparable sources or in address directories for the purpose of sending information that was not explicitly requested. Use of the address directories for commercial or non-commercial purposes is not permitted. The operator explicitly reserves the right to take legal action against violations.

Our site uses YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and Vimeo, Inc. for the inclusion of video. 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011. Normally, when you visit an embedded video page, your IP address will be sent to YouTube or Vimeo and cookies will be installed on your computer. However, we have included our YouTube and Vimeo videos with the enhanced privacy mode (in which case, YouTube will still contact the Google DoubleClick service, but personal data will not be evaluated according to Google's Privacy Policy). This will prevent YouTube and Vimeo from storing any information about the visitors unless they are watching the video. If you click on the video, your IP address will be sent to YouTube or Vimeo and YouTube or Vimeo will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube or Vimeo, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube or Vimeo before the video is called). From the then possible collection and use of your data by YouTube or Vimeo, we have no knowledge and no influence.
